In my minds eye,
from a highrise beneath a moonlit sky,
draped in the mist of the falling rain,
I watch the city dance in electrical light,
while the thunder plays her bass violin.

i finished something today.. its been a while, a little on the deep side but a little depth is ok sometimes. enjoy
The breath of winter chills my skin,
as I gaze the evening sky,
and in quiet admiration
of endless wonder,
watch cosmic rays of stellar light,
that reach from distant places,
I could only dream to see.
With an outstretched hand to a distant sun,
comes the reminder of distant dreams,
and I reach within the celestial window,
in the hopes for just one touch,
of an endless possibility.
My minds eye explodes on the cosmic stage,
fueled by a spark in the depths of me,
and slowly fades from the twinkling canvas,
to ignite my mortal soul,
when it is prepared for immortal things.
The angelic taste of innocent love,
whose thirst is evident on my lips,
an iron will to seize my dreams,
to allow none through my finger tips.
Patience for life's amazing gifts,
as they come to those who wait,
and eyes that know when I have witnessed heaven,
to serve the reminder in the power of faith.
